It is with great sadness that l have to inform members of Garstang Cricket Club and the League that former player Phil Evans passed away in Hospital last Friday (29th) after suffering a serious stroke.

His wife Dorothy is also in Hospital but is ok.

Phil played for Garstang 1st team in the 70s & early 80s and was an exceptional quick bowler.

Our thoughts are with Dorothy and the family at this sad time.

Phil will be remembered at our Presentation Dinner this Friday.

No funeral arrangements have been made as yet, if you would like further details please contact Mike Walling/Charlie Collinson.
