The T20 Final at Great Eccleston yesterday had to be abandoned due to torrential rain

It will now be played on Sunday 1st September at Croston at a time to be arranged

In the first semi-final, Morecambe edged home over Preston

Morecambe score 180 from their 20 overs thanks to a score of 98 from skipper Ryan Pearson

Preston got extremely close ending on 175 for 8 in a thrilling game, with the runs being shared around

The second semi wasn't as close with Croston scoring 182 - 6 thanks to a 50 from evergreen Lee Childs

Whilst Great Eccleston managed 90 all-out. Once again the pesky Aussie starred with 4 for 8 from his 4 overs

Praise must go to Gt Eccleston CC who's preparation and delivery of the event was excellent.

Mick & Jim Procter had the ground in good condition, whilst the teas prepared by Ian & Linda Senior were superb.

A barbeque & the bar worked very well whilst DJ Burns looked after the music

Thank you to all four teams for excellent support look forward to seeing some of you at Croston.

The bar ran well on a rota system
