Many of you have been in touch to clarify the additional markings on the pitch for 2020 adapted cricket.

Here is an example of Best Practice from Carnforth Groundsman Peter Robinson

"this is how I have marked tomorrows pitch at Carnforth. The non strikers running lines are clearly marked and I have cut the square in pitch bays so the nap line gives further guidance. I have extended the popping crease to join up with the new marks to help umpires with run outs.
When at the bowlers end, umpires will need to move beyond the running lines when judging run outs" Peter Robinson via Facebook.
